IT'S CALLED DOPE FOR A REASON...

Here is just a sample of the "visitors" to 5314 Royal Oak Drive Tampa Florida 33610:

ABATE THE NUISANCE HOUSE UNDER STATUTE 823.10 (823.10 Place where controlled substances are illegally kept, sold, or used declared a public nuisance) HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY FLORIDA - IT'S THE RIGHT THING TO DO IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE COMMUNITY AND IT'S CITIZENS. ALLOWING GERALD RICHARD DICKSON TO OPERATE A DOPE-HOUSE WITH IMPUNITY CORRUPTS THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND CREATES AN ATMOSPHERE WHERE ASSAULTS AND EVEN MURDER ARE A STANDARD DAILY FARE. WE HAVE BEEN REQUESTING ABATEMENT OF THIS "HOME" FOR MONTHS, TO ALLOW IT TO CONTINUE MAKES THE LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT COMPLICIT IN THE ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES. WE KNOW YOU HAVE THE POWER TO ABATE, USE IT!

MESSAGE TO COPS: PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE

In the last few months I have been bounced around Hillsborough County by officials and cops in my attempt to pursue an abatement of the local, and well-known dope house located at 5314 Royal Oak Drive, Tampa Florida 33610. Every agency points to another, cops say it's code enforcement's job, code says it's the cops responsibility and the county commission just acts like they don't know who takes care of the nuisance statutes (823.10 http://www.flsenate.gov/Laws/Statutes/2012/823.10 ).
Cops have refused to do routine marked patrols to reduce the drug traffic and now a man who sold his prescriptions to the nuisance house in question has been murdered: "Seffner man shot to death in his home" http://www.wspa.com/story/26239013/seffner-man-shot-to-death-in-his-home-friday-night

In the next series of blogs I intend to chronicle and explore why Hillsborough County Florida would desire to be complicit in these illegal activities and what they stand to gain by doing so. The bottom line is greed. Mass incarceration and the seizing of assets produces revenue for "Law Enforcement" and the abatement of a nuisance house is a foreign concept here in the Tampa area despite the fact that other Bay area towns seem to care enough about their citizens to be familiar with abatement laws and enforce them without forcing private citizens to endure the harassment we have in order to merely get the cops to DO THEIR JOB. (Note how this is SUPPOSED to be handled: "Lakeland shuts down known drug house under public nuisance law; dedicating more resources to effort" - http://www.abcactionnews.com/news/region-polk/lakeland/lakeland-shuts-down-known-drug-house-under-public-nuisance-law-dedicating-more-resources-to-effort )

As a journalist the local cops have deemed me "suspicious" but allow the criminals drawing the influence that led to murder into our neighborhood with impunity, and both the cops and the dope-pushers are getting more brazen in their lawless activities by the day. The cops are complicit in the activity by their lack of pro-active response to the problem, at the very least...however it appears to be more of a doppelganger of the issues Sunrise Florida faced with it's dirty cops: "SUNRISE — Police in this suburban town best known for its sprawling outlet mall have hit upon a surefire way to make millions. They sell cocaine." http://www.sun-sentinel.com/fl-sunrise-cops-money-selling-drugs-1006,0,497004.htmlpage  only here in Seffner Florida...well it's nickname says it all: "METHNER".

Law Enforcement take note: WHO WATCHES THE WATCHMEN? WE DO...

POLICE THE POLICE - DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY

MEET DETECTIVE JASON OLIVER OF HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY FLORIDA HOMICIDE

THE COP WHO THOUGHT A FEMALE WITH A CAMERA WAS "SUSPICIOUS" RATHER THAN A RESOURCE AND AS HIS INTRODUCTION ATTEMPTED TO OPEN THE VEHICLE DOOR WITHOUT CAUSE NOR INVITATION TO DO SO. WHAT DID HE INTEND TO DO HAD THE DOOR NOT BEEN LOCKED ONCE HE OPENED IT? I WAS AFRAID FOR MY LIFE BY THIS JACKASS AND HAVE DEMANDED AN EXPLANATION AND APOLOGY FROM HILLSBOROUGH FLORIDA SHERIFF'S OFFICE OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS.
